In the center of the lake, on the pollen heart of a lotus,

KU NGA YE SHE LHUN GYI DRUB PA'I LHA
is the spontaneously accomplished primordial wisdom deity of the five embodiments,

RANG JUNG CHEN PO PEDMA YAB YUM NI
great self-born Padmasambhava and consort,

KHANDRO'I TRING PHUNG TRIG LA SOL WA DEB
surrounded by dakinis like massive heaps of clouds; to you I pray.

SAM PA NYUR DU DRUB PAR CHIN GYI LOB
Grant blessings that my wishes may be swiftly accomplished.

LEI NGEN CHOD PA'I NAM MIN THU KYED PA'I
Due to the strength of fully-ripening karmic behaviors,

NED DON BAR CHOD MAG TRUG MU GE'I TSOG
all illness, negative forces, obstacles, war, strife, and famine develop.

KHYOD SHAL DREN PA'I MOD LA ZED CHED PA'I
By fervently remembering your face, they are exhausted.

SHAL SHEI NYING MEI KUL LO ORGYEN JE

SAM PA NYUR DU DRUB PAR CHIN GYI LOB

DED DANG TSUL TRIM TONG LA GOM PA DANG
Liberating the mind through the practice of faith, morality, generosity,

THO PA'I GYUD DROL TREL YOD NGO TSAR SHEI
with modesty and shame, listening to dharma

SHEI RAB PHUN SUM TSOG PA'I NOR DUN PO
and being fully endowed with wisdom, these are the seven wealths.

SEM CHEN KUN GYI GYUD LA RANG SHUG NEI
By the strength of these rising in the minds of all sentient beings,

JIG TEN DE KYID DEN PAR UG CHIN DZOD
they will breathe the treasure of bliss and happiness into this world.

SAM PA NYUR DU DRUB PAR CHIN GYI LOB
Grant blessings that my wishes may be swiftly accomplished.

GANG LA NED DANG DUG NGAL MI DOD KYEN
All illness, and the suffering of undesirable circumstances,

JUNG PO'I DON DANG GYAL PO'I CHED PA DANG
the rising up of demonic forces, and the punishment of the king,

MEI CHU CHEN ZEN LAM TRANG JIG PA CHE
fire, water, wild animals, treacherous passages, and great fears...

TSE YI PHA THAR TUG PA'I NEI KAB KUN
during all such temporary occasions, and when the end of this life is reached,

KYAB DANG RE SA SHEN DU MA CHI PEI
there is no other source of refuge or hope than you.

THUG JEI ZUNG SHIG GU RU ORGYEN JE
Hold me fast with your compassion, Lord Orgyen.
